Supporting all of it are 9 solid birch wood legs with a round cross-section and a walnut veneer outer profile, so the visible edge of each leg continues the tone of the headboard whilst the strength comes from solid timber.

The wood used throughout holds FSC Mix Credit certification, made from a mix of materials from FSC-certified forests and FSC-controlled wood, which is a volume-based accounting of responsible sourcing across the supply chain. In use, this walnut veneer bed asks for very little: dust the milled grooves along their length with a dry brush or a soft cloth rather than across them, keep the veneer out of standing water, and wipe the surface dry after cleaning. Veneer is real wood, and it responds to moisture the way solid timber does.
