Discover the white Japandi hanging lamp
This ceiling lamp is made using an unusual technique: fine fibres are sprayed onto a base of rotating steel rods, which then act as the internal support for the shade. The result is a translucent, cocoon-like form with visible structural lines beneath the surface — a piece that looks handmade because, in effect, it is spun rather than assembled.
Lit, the 51 cm shade glows evenly from within whilst the steel rods read as fine shadow lines, giving the fixture depth that flat shades never achieve. Compatible with E27 bulbs up to 40W, not included, it suits dining tables, stairwells and living rooms with height to spare. The flexible soft-sheathed wiring resists tangling, making installation and height adjustment straightforward.
