Annual Care for Acacia and Cord
Acacia rewards a little attention once a year. Clean the solid acacia top, let it dry completely, then feed it with a product formulated for acacia wood, working the treatment in along the grain. That single annual pass is what keeps the surface from drying out, greying and eventually opening fine cracks across the face. Between times, wipe spills promptly and avoid leaving wet glasses standing on the wooden table top for hours at a time.
The beige cord needs less: brush loose dust from the weave, rinse it occasionally, then let it dry in the air rather than baking it in full sun. Indoors, the table earns its place beside an armchair or at the end of a bed, where the Ø40 cm top holds a book and a glass without dominating. Outside, keep it under cover during long spells of rain to extend the life of both the steel structure and the wood.
